2 Timothy 1:7

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

What God is saying

Fear does not come from God. The Spirit He gives produces: power, love, self-control, and mental stability

When you start your day with the power, filled words of God that strengthens your faith and changes your mind set.

Faith Principle

When fear attacks the mind, believers can stand on this promise: God has given me a sound mind.

4. The Mind Must Be Renewed-

This is a daily process a daily choice of what you focus on what you think about and replacing thoughts of depression, oppression, sorrow, and anxiety with what God‘s word promises.

His word is always the plum line where you go back to what you lean on,  what you remind yourself of.

Romans 12:2

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

What God is saying-

Transformation happens when the mind is renewed by God’s truth. But you must be the one that listens to God‘s word, reads God‘s word and gives it a framework within your life to build on.

As believers meditate on Scripture, their thinking begins to align with God’s will.

Faith Principle

A renewed mind leads to a transformed life.

5. God Renews the Spirit of Our Mind

Ephesians 4:23

“Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”

What God is saying-

God continually refreshes and restores the believer’s inner thinking and attitudes. His words are faithful and true.

He is telling you ahead of time “I’ve not given you a spirit of fear, but of a sound mind a mind that you have control of . A mind that when standing on the Word of God walks through a diagnosis, a challenging situation, a fearful situation with confidence because God goes before you, God is with you, God will never forsake you!
