Faith Building & God’s Word

Dick Mills founded DMM to encourage and strengthen Christians all over the world with his unique gift of prophetic Scripture and Bible study. He gave words of wisdom, knowledge and encouragement to over 1,000,000 people in his lifetime. These words were prophetic, and scripturally based and proved to be a powerful combination. Lifting individual’s Christian faith with his anointed personal, powerful, and experiential ministry. We humbly continue the work of personal ministry and Bible study.

Vision & Goals

Our vision is to provide a way for believers to see, hear, read and run with the prophetic and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. To stay on their feet (Job 4:4), stay filled and change the earth till the return of our Savior. We believe our implementing our vision will produce our God given goal of encouraging, strengthening and helping build the body of Christ into strong warriors.

Do you yell at your giants? David in the Bible did. As he was running towards him He yelled and declared that his God was with Him. He also told his giant was he was planning on doing to him.

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand” I Samuel 17:45,46

The army of Israel was in a ravine, with the Philistines and Goliath on one side, and the men of war on the other. They faced each other each day. They were also close enough to each other, that Goliath could see that David was a young man. That is close!

The men in the army of Israel knew how to fight. They were armed for war, yet they didn’t move towards their enemy.

Yelling Has Purpose

Goliath yelled at the Israel army, and then focused on David, yelling at him. When Goliath did this, the army of Israel cowered in fear. His yelling had purpose, and it was to intimidate and make his opposition afraid. Yelling had a purpose.

And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!” I Samuel 17:44 NKJV

David and Goliath Rembrandt van

Notice this is the last thing Goliath ever said. David gathered his weapons (slingshot and stones), ran towards Goliath, and yelled back at him. For all to hear. For all to take note, and see what was going to happen. The yelling had purpose. It stirred faith in the army of Israel, and it probably amused Goliath and the Philistine army. However, when Goliath began to fall backwards, the yelling took on a different sound. The sound of victory.

David’s yelling had purpose. He was filled with faith and determination. This giant had defied his God.

Is there something in your life, that is happening that is defying God? Defying His Words and promises that say “For I know the plans I have for you plans for good and NOT FOR EVIL, to give you a future and a hope.”

Is there something in your life, that is happening that is defying God? Defying His Words and promises that say to you “For I know the plans I have for you plans for good and NOT FOR EVIL, to give you a future and a hope.” Then come against it.

Come in the Name of the Lord of Hosts.

As a believer you face trials and impossible situations. Come against what Satan is sending your way, in the Name of the Lord of Hosts. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus comes to “give life and give life more abundantly.” John 10:10

All the men in the army behind David knew how to fight, were armed for the fight, yet they didn’t. They let what they saw decide their courage (lack of it), rather than the God they served.

In the Bible David didn’t spend energy questioning why the men of Israel had to face this giant surrounded by an army, and He didn’t question God. He looked at his enemy that was defying God, and moved forward.

David yelled as he ran towards Goliath.

He was armed (with stones instead of a sword) for the fight.

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
I Samuel 17:47 NKJV

Coming in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel.

Whatever the giant is in your life, begin speaking in the Name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, and come against it.

God’s Word says you are an overcomer. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

The Bible gives us this protocol- (these are scriptures to be said out loud, prayed, declared and believed)

” Submit yourselves to God, resist the Devil, and he will flee.” James 4:7,8

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11 ESV

“But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.” Jude 1:9

“Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” I John 3:8

“To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.” Acts 26:18

“And give no opportunity to the devil.” Ephesians 4:12

*It is also important to note here, that we don’t use weapons in the physical sense against people, family members, children, etc. These scriptures are for you to realize you are to stand and come against what the Devil sends your way. HAVE a fighting spirit, not a cowardly spirit.

The sword of the Spirit, and the shield of faith are a spiritual strong mindset to fight against the Devil and they are part of the Armor of God that He directs you to put on. Resist the Devil.

Father in Jesus’ Name we agree in prayer for each person here. We pray and come against the enemy, the giant of a situation, that each person is facing. We know you are a great God and you are Sovereign, Mighty and Powerful.

It is in your name that we pray and submit ourselves to.

God, we ask you to fill us with your Spirit, strengthen us with your power, and give us wisdom to handle ourselves in a rough season.

IN Jesus’ Name, the Name above every name, we resist the Devil. Not only do we pray this, but we move forward in faith, not cowering in fear, but we face the opposition in the Name of the Lord, the God of the armies of Israel.” With wisdom, the strength of God, and having done all to stand, we continue to stand. (Ephesians 6)

We agree together and pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.

Amen!

To God Be all the Glory,

Debbie (Mills) Booth
