Faith Building & God’s Word

Dick Mills founded DMM to encourage and strengthen Christians all over the world with his unique gift of prophetic Scripture and Bible study. He gave words of wisdom, knowledge and encouragement to over 1,000,000 people in his lifetime. These words were prophetic, and scripturally based and proved to be a powerful combination. Lifting individual’s Christian faith with his anointed personal, powerful, and experiential ministry. We humbly continue the work of personal ministry and Bible study.

Vision & Goals

Our vision is to provide a way for believers to see, hear, read and run with the prophetic and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. To stay on their feet (Job 4:4), stay filled and change the earth till the return of our Savior. We believe our implementing our vision will produce our God given goal of encouraging, strengthening and helping build the body of Christ into strong warriors.

Do you hope that God will help you and come into your life and do something miraculous? Do you pray for God to do what only He can do? Something that is beyond your control?

I have some very good news for you. Promises based on God’s Word, from His lips, directly to you regarding what He can do.

Ezekiel 12:28, “ “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

God responds when we call on Him. He moves on our behalf. He moves on your behalf.

What God Can Do

Look at what God can do, and the process in these scriptures. It is important to see what happens first, and what sets in motion a move from God.

Here is a list of scriptures that show what God can do, and what we should do. Notice that there are two parts to each scripture.

Romans 10:9, 10, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.”

When you pray and ask Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your heart, it is your mouth, your words, your prayer and believing-but then God does something.

He saves you, cleanses you and forgives you of ALL sins. God does what only He can do, and it is miraculous. All the sudden you’re different. You have been saved and it is wonderful!

2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (NKJV)

Instead of being in the world, we have changed location spiritually. We are in Christ-and then we become new. All things in our lives, our thinking and our mind set become new.

When you repent of your sins in prayer, it is your words and prayer of repentance but then God does something. God does what only He can do and it is miraculous.

2 Chronicles 7:14, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

*Humble yourself

*Pray

*Seek His face

*Repent (to change directions, walk away from sin, towards God)

Then God hears. He forgives and He heals.

Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Seek God and His Kingdom- Righteousness, Peace and Joy.

The things you need, the move of God, personal and physical needs will be added to you.

Mark 1:15, “and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Romans 14:17, “for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

If you are at a point in life where you are not experiencing God to the degree you need to, then it is good to go back to the basics.

Back to the Basics

The basics-

Pray and ask God to fill your heart.

Repent of your sins.

Ask God to show you areas in your heart that need change.

Seek God. Take time to worship, pray, and read or listen to the Bible.

Bring Him into your day.

I personally write out prayer needs, questions I need answers to, and bills that need extra income to pay. Basically, problems I am not able to solve on my own.

I pray over these things, and I ask God to help me find out what I need to find out, see what I need to see, and then problem solve what I can solve.

Proverbs 6:20-22, My son, obey your father’s commands, and don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. Keep their words always in your heart. Tie them around your neck.

When you walk, their counsel will lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up, they will advise you.

Ask God For Clarity

Lastly, as you are praying, seeking God, look for answers and direction to come. Pray and seek Him first, then ask God to make the answers clear.  Ask God for clarity.

Proverbs 3:5,6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Psalm 37:5, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will bring it to pass.”

Every scripture, and there are hundreds more, shows that:

*we do an action

*and then God responds.

When He Speaks

We are to actively come to the Lord positioning ourselves in front of Him so that when He speaks we hear His voice.

God says if you’ll call on Him He will answer. Jeremiah 33:3, “Call on me and I will answer you and show you things you don’t know.”

This is the answer to you if you’ve felt that God hasn’t spoken to you or if you haven’t heard His voice.

“Well God doesn’t speak to me….”  If you have ever said those words, or felt this way, then the answer to this crisis, is that you need to call on Him, wait, He will speak to you.

God is not a liar (Numbers 23:19) and we can take Him at His Word. When He says ‘call on Him and He will answer,’ then trust those words. His Words. His promises.

In a word.

In an idea

Through a thought, a song, a message, a scripture.

Isaiah 30:21, “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, this is the way you should go, whether to the right or to the left.” (NLT)

Position Yourself to Hear from God

Position yourself today to hear from God. Do what only you can do to receive from God. This gives Him access to you, to your life.

If you are already doing this, then you are waiting. God values waiting.

Wait

Psalm 27:14, “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” (ESV)

Lamentations 3:25, “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”

Father in Jesus Name we believe that you are Mighty in Power, Worthy of all our Praise, and you are trustworthy in all that you do. We ask you to show us the things we need to see, find out what we need to find out so that we can wisely make decisions. We believe your Words are true. That you will strengthen us and help us (Isaiah 41:10).

Today Lord we repent of every sin, and thank you for your salvation and forgiveness.

Thank you that you lead us, guide us and you speak to us. (Jeremiah 33:3).

We pray all of this in the Magnificent Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. Amen.

To God Be All the Glory,

Deborah (Mills) Booth
