Think of the sound in the earth and the heavens when Jesus was born.
God was breathing life into the world through the Son-of God and the Son of Man. The earth knew the sound of its creator. The heavens, and the Earth knew the sound of God.
Psalm 29:3-9, “ The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars…
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert…
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

The angels sang and rejoiced and the sound FILLED the heavens.
Luke 2:13,14, “suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
I read years ago that the sound of the angels and heavenly hosts singing was similar to the roar of Niagra Falls. The sound was glorious, and it was equally deafening.
God breathed life into man and again into the world when the Savior was born.
What had been corrupted in the Garden of Eden by Satan, destroying what God intended for Adam and Eve to walk in relationship with Him was now being restored when the Savior was born.
There was a sound of hope as God breathed life into the Christ child.
For unto us a Child is born.”
Excerpt from The Breath of Heaven written by Deborah Joyce Booth –
“With those words, God’s promise stepped into time and took its first breath.
Through the cry of a newborn in a humble manger, His Word became flesh, and His eternal promise came alive before the eyes of the world.

The earth itself seemed to pause in wonder, recognizing the touch of its Creator once more.
The angels broke the silence of centuries with songs of pure joy and the heavens came alive with sounds of rejoicing:
“Glory to God in the Highest!”
In that holy moment, creation awakened to the sound of fulfillment—
the sound of redemption stirring in the still night air.
It was the sound of salvation…
the sound of hope triumphant,
as God’s purpose overruled the chaos of sin set in motion so long ago in the garden.
But God’s plan did not stop at the manger.
His purpose was to breathe life back into the heart of man by giving him a Savior.
From the beginning, His desire was to restore what had been stolen by the lies and deception of the enemy.
What sin had shattered, grace would now redeem.
What was lost in the garden would be found in the gift of His Son.
God created a way back to His presence, His purpose, and His love—
a way that could never again be destroyed or stolen.
He offered a gift: His Son, His only Son.
And through Him, He breathed the breath of eternal life—
a life that could never be extinguished.
Through Jesus, the plan of salvation was written in the blood of forgiveness,
a covenant that would never fade,
a mercy that would never end.
There would be one way to the Father—
and that way was made possible by Jesus,
the Savior,
the Promise,
the everlasting Word made flesh.”

Prayer
“Father,
Thank You for the breath of life that first filled Adam,
for the breath that entered the manger in Bethlehem,
and for the same Holy Spirit that fills me now.
Breathe into me once again, Lord the breath of life.
Where I have grown weary, quicken me.
Where I have lost hope, revive me.
Where my spirit has felt dry and distant, Lord restore me.
Rebuild the ruins within me and make me new again.
Let every breath I take bring You praise,
and may the Breath of Heaven continue to move through my life.
In the mighty Name of Jesus,”
Amen.
Praying for you in this Christmas season that your Spirit will come alive with the Breath of God. You are meant to live fully and completely for the gift God gave us, His Son. Our Savior.
