I’m Debbie Booth, Dick and Betty Mills’ daughter. My husband Kyle and I are the presence behind Dick Mills Ministries – “A Good Word for You.” We believe that God’s Word sustains and strengthens us, regardless of what the world is saying and doing. Job 4:4 says, “Your Word has kept men on their feet.” That’s a good Word for you today – Don’t quit and don’t give up. Regardless of your circumstances or the rough season you may be in, don’t ever give up and walk away from Jesus. Instead, fill yourself up with the powerful Word of God that strengthens, sustains and empowers you. Galatians 6:9, “Don’t grow weary in well doing for you will reap a harvest if you just don’t quit, give up and walk away.” (Paraphrased) Job 8:7, “Better are the days ahead than the days behind you.” Keep going. Psalm 37:5, “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him to help you do it, and he will.” Ezekiel 12:28, “Therefore say to them: ‘The Lord God says: All delay has ended! I will do it now!’” God will do what He has promised. He is faithful, He is trustworthy, He is not a liar (Numbers 23:19).
Don’t look to your circumstances and question God. Speak God’s Word to and over your circumstances and tell them that God is who you trust, God’s Word is what you know to be true, and He won’t forsake you. Circumstances change. His Words won’t return void, they will do what they are meant to do and sent to do. (Isaiah 55:11). Jeremiah 33:3, “Call on me and I will answer you…” Today is a good day to call on the Lord, tell Him everything, tell Him what you need, and lay your requests before Him. Psalm 5:3, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you. and wait expectantly.” We believe God knows where. you are at, today, and what you are needing, what you are facing. Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Proverbs 4: 11, “I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.
12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered;
when you run, you will not stumble.
13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go;
guard it well, for it is your life.”
