In part 1 on Internal & External Peace ( HERE ) we looked at scriptures, processes and common sense how to have peaceful days. How to start the day with prayer, devotions and more with Jehovah Shalom, God whose name means peace.

The second part today focuses on just a few more scriptures on experiencing the peace of God internally and externally. Peace comes from God.
God has planned peace for us
God has planned peace for us, so when we are not experiencing that peace, we speak His Word over out situation, over our heart and mind. He is in the Word.
John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
He is in the Word.

“When we speak the Word of God, the powerful Words from the very mouth of God we are bringing His presence and His peace to our moment, our day, our spirit, our lives, our situation. Right then. Right there.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts I have for you and His thoughts for you – peace. His plans for you and your future – peaceful not filled with evil.”
Lacking peace?
If at any time you are lacking peace because of outward circumstances that you are facing, God also makes provision for you to come to Him, Seek after Him, Call on Him and Find Him.
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
NKJV Bible

When you call-
When you pray-
God will listen-
When you seek Him-
You will find Him-
Search for Him with all your heart. His presence when found has peace (Jehovah Shalom) attached to it because He is peace. Answers come. Direction comes.
In my article ( HERE )about Abounding and the reciprocity of God we see that He is multidimensional. He grants us peace, communicates His plans for us, and that they are peaceful. He also draws us towards Him with His peace communicating that as we lean in, press in and call on Him and pray, that He listens.
This is a win win. We find Him, we find peace.
He also says when we seek Him we find Him. The Lord is our peace. Everything around us can be falling at our side (Psalm 91:7 “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”) but His peace does not subside, nor does it dwindle but rather it holds fast, just like an anchor holds fast.

It does not waiver at the size of the storm.
It does not lose its purpose at the size of the waves.
Nor does it lose the fact it was made for the storm.
An anchor is made for a storm.
God’s Peace, external and internal is made for us and made to hold us steady during the storm. Any storm.

God has already given His peace to us, it is already a tool in the tool belt of every believer. But we must anchor ourselves to this peace.
If we don’t apply the name of Jehovah Shalom, or pray the name of Jehovah Shalom over our circumstances, it is at a distance rather than right where we are, near us and for us.
“Just like prayer, we have to actively pray. Just like faith, we have to actively believe. Just like salvation, we have to pray, repent, accept, believe and trust in the savior.” And then God does what only He can do. He answers the prayer. He moves mountains. He saves and forgives us.

Everything changes, because we just applied what God said He would do, what He promised, what He meant, to our situation.
We align ourselves with His Words and who He is.
This is faith.
Internal and External Peace because of who Jehovah Shalom is. Not because circumstances are ok, or peaceful, but because we have our eyes fixed on Him.
The World will always have chaos. And Peace will always be found in Jehovah Shalom – our God who is Peace.

We do not need to collapse internally or externally because of circumstances.
Rather our strength from within, because of the power of the Living God is within us, creates a resilience that is greater than the outward pressure.
Jehovah Shalom.
He is our Peace.
To God be all the Glory,
