Hello Everyone. Have you ever had a moment where you thought or prayed “God please do something?”
God is doing something. Every single day and every season God is moving and speaking. But there are times for all of us where we are frustrated or upset. An unexpected situation like shrapnel, disrupts or damages our lives. We are then left with a mess.

I remember several months ago praying over a situation that was just not moving forward. We believed God had given my husband and I direction to move forward in a big area. But try as hard as we could nothing was budging. I kept praying.
Out of frustration I prayed and said “God please do something! We know you spoke to us, we know that change is coming, but when we pray, nothing is moving!”
The Lord came back and said “I want you to start praying these scriptures and speaking them every day.” He reminded me that “He hastens to perform His Word.” (Jeremiah 1:12) I needed to pray His Word.

He also let me know that speaking His Word, which is alive and powerful, is what would move impossible situations to His will being done. (Hebrews 4:12)
That is what we were praying for and we were so frustrated at the stand-still.
He reminded me His presence is in His Word. John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word…and the Word was God.”
Also that He will hasten to perform His Word (Jeremiah 1:1) and He is faithful to perform His Word (Ezekiel 12:25,28)
“This is the day which the Lord has made we will be glad and rejoice in it.(Psalm 118:24)
“Behold I loose (free you) you this DAY from every chain which was upon you. (Jeremiah 40:4)

“Give us this day (today) our daily bread. (Matthew 6:11)
“From this day (today) forward will I bless you. (Haggai 2:19)
Approximately 4 months later we had a very unusual breakthrough that neither of us saw coming. It was different than what we planned and it did not come from the direction we expected, but nonetheless it finally came.
As a believer I learned a very valuable lesson. God wants His will to be done in our lives, and we need to purposely get in the same direction He is moving for that to happen. Like getting on a freeway that is heading the direction of your destination.
He can’t lead you if you haven’t gotten in the car, on the freeway, heading the right direction so to speak. He can but it will take extra time to get you there!

God’s Word is filled with powerful words. Words from the mouth of God. Words that are “forever settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89)
These are scriptures to pray, and write in a place where you can see them and be mindful of what God has promised. To pray them, declare and say them out loud, be familiar with and remember.
Remember God is not a liar, what He has promised He will do. (Numbers 23:19)
“The Egyptians (a picture of our problems) you see this day you shall see no more.” (Exodus 14:13)
