Faith Building & God’s Word

Dick Mills founded DMM to encourage and strengthen Christians all over the world with his unique gift of prophetic Scripture and Bible study. He gave words of wisdom, knowledge and encouragement to over 1,000,000 people in his lifetime. These words were prophetic, and scripturally based and proved to be a powerful combination. Lifting individual’s Christian faith with his anointed personal, powerful, and experiential ministry. We humbly continue the work of personal ministry and Bible study.

Vision & Goals

Our vision is to provide a way for believers to see, hear, read and run with the prophetic and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. To stay on their feet (Job 4:4), stay filled and change the earth till the return of our Savior. We believe our implementing our vision will produce our God given goal of encouraging, strengthening and helping build the body of Christ into strong warriors.

Today I am sharing an incredible excerpt from the book my father Dick Mills wrote ‘The Spirit Filled Believer’s Daily Devotional’ Volume 1. His devotionals are available in limited numbers, see below for purchase.

Ephesians 1:13,14 “You were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession…”

Here Paul referes to the Holy Spirit as the “earnest” of our inheritance. This word translated earnest is the Greek word arrhabon (ar-hrab-ohn’). It was the word used in business transactions to indicate a deposit or a down payment. In Biblical days, the earnest was a pledge of property or money as security to insure full payment of a loan or debt. Paul is telling us here that the Holy Spirit is God’s pledge to us of full provision of everything He has promised us. In effect it is:

  1. A guarantee of HIs daily blessings – God did not send his Holy Spirit to us only to withdraw Him later and leave us to face life alone. The daily presence of the Spirit in our hearts is a guarantee of daily guidance, provision and blessings, as well as of future bliss.
  2. A first installment of future reward – Jesus comes into our hearts by the agency of the Holy Spirit. At the time of our death, this same Jesus is personally waiting to greet and welcome us into heavenly splendor
  3. (Acts 7:56). This reception is the second installment of God’s salvation pledge to us; and the third is the introduction into the royal court of the Ruler of the Universe in whose presence we will spend eternity.
  4. Security Deposit – The Holy Spirit in our lives is a deposit given to assure us of all the good things God has in store for us. We Christians have much to look forward to. Receiving the Holy Spirit stimulates us to press on to perfection and to all the better things He has promised.

God moves through the earth by His Spirit. He also fills believers with His presence by the person and presence of the Holy Spirit.

The excerpt above is available in the two Devotionals, both different, both now out of print. Available HERE for $39.99 which includes shipping.

We are praying for you that you are filled to overflowing with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Filled. Empowered by the Presence of God. This is a daily blessing that every believer can utilize to be strong, have wisdom, and stay on target regardless of the season.

Christians and believers have access to God’s power and HIs healing because of the Holy Spirit.

God has more for you, and that is what we are praying that you will experience. Ephesians 3:20 “ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

To God Be All the Glory,

Debbie (Mills) Booth
