Hello everyone, we are so glad you are here. This morning, I wanted to share with you a good word. God’s Word is filled with wonderful promises that give hope, direction and a step by step game plan for believers to follow. We are not left to ourselves to figure out what God wants us to do. He gives us basic instructions, a game plan much like a football coach gives directions and instruction.

Think about this, a player only sees what is in front of them or to the sides of them. But a coach has an overview. Sees the strengths of the other team. Whether the ball will be passed, thrown, or run. This matters. If the ball is thrown, then there needs to be teammates that anticipate the pass, and surround the one who will catch the ball and possibly run that ball across the goal line.
God has an overview for us. He sees what is surrounding us. He instructs us to be prepared by putting the Armor of God on. (We have a great article HERE talking about the basics of putting on the Armor of God each day.)
Be sure to see Abounding Blessings part 1 HERE

God’s Word is multi-dimensional in that He promises all our needs (all of them including basic everyday needs) will be met and that we will be filled with His presence (spiritual) when we seek Him, honor Him, give to Him, live for Him, forsake all else and follow Him.
Proverbs 10:22, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.”

God’s principles work. There is a reason for HIs steps, His commandments, His precepts and His directives.
Proverbs 4:22 “For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.”

Isaiah 55:7, “Let the wicked forsake His way, and the unrighteous His thoughts. Let him return to the Lord. He will have mercy on him and to our God for He will abundantly pardon.”
Scriptures Compiled by Dick Mills and Debbie (Mills) Booth
In order to find His Words we must look for them and believe them. We seek Him when we are reading the Word. The Bible says that process will make health come to us. He has made it possible for us to always find Him. When we seek Him we will always find Him. (Matthew 6:6)

Everything He has ever told us is in His Word, and everything He has done for us has been recorded in His Word. We find all that we need in Him.
His abounding blessings are for you. Every single day. God is not withholding His blessings from you.
He has given you His Word so that you know what His plan for you is. The desire to draw near to God has purpose. There is life in His presence. Freedom from sin, heartache and strife.

No Strife
The opposite of abounding blessings is no blessings, and a life filled with strife. God’s Blessings bring peace, HIs presence and HIs purpose. Strife brings the opposite. Confusion, the lack of God’s presence, and lost purpose.
James 3:16, 17, “For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”
God says that ‘where there is strife there is every evil work’ but also where His presence is, there is every blessing. Avoid strife, and don’t participate in it. Ask God for wisdom in a rough situation where strife is. Deliberately pray and speak words that pour water on the fire of strife. Put it out. Strife invites every evil work as the scriptures say.
Abounding blessings are meant for you. But abounding blessings probably won’t be in the same room where strife is continually being promoted. That is why it is imperative as a believer to not only avoid strife, but to deliberately shut it down.
If you wonder how to do this, God provides a very simple protocol for every person. No matter what stage of life you are in. Whether you are a new believer or a mature believer. His plan is this:

James 4:7,8, “Wash your hands of sins (ask God to cleanse your heart of what does not belong there, what serves no purpose in your life as a believer). Submit yourselves therefore to God (submit all of your heart, don’t hold back in any way, complete surrender is what God is wanting), resist the Devil (get rid of Him, anything that represents him in your life, darkness, gloom, despair, and strife) and the Devil will have to flee. Run in 7 different directions.
Every day. Pray. Repent. Get close to God. Get away from the Devil. Head towards God. The Devil isn’t going towards God, he isn’t going that direction!
God has blessings in store for you. Satan does not.
God has good plans in store for you. Satan does not.
God promised you in His Word, that He would withhold ‘no good thing’ from you, and from those who walk towards Him, live for Him, seek Him and serve Him. (Psalm 84:11)

Today is the day to run towards God, His purpose, His plan, His presence, His Holy Spirit.
We have this one life to live for one God. Jehovah. The one true God. There is no other god like Him.
Isaiah 44:6, “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”

Father in Jesus Name, we ask you to come into our lives today. We invite you into our plans, our purpose and our destiny. Guide us as we navigate our days. We know by your Word that. your purpose is for your will to be done here as it is in heaven. There is no sickness, lack, strife, in heaven. We pray today, that your will would be done in our lives.
God, we want all of you. The abounding blessings you promise us, God we not only ask for but we make room for them. Heavenly Father, we don’t want a portion of what you desire for us, we want every ‘good thing.’ Lord your purpose, your Word, your Presence, is meant for us as you have said in your promises.
So today, we pray, we repent of every sin, and we ask you to cleanse our hearts. Like cleaning out a closet to make room for new and better, Lord that is what we do today. We repent of the sins, get rid of anything that doesn’t bring glory to you Lord.
*Then fill us with your Holy Spirit. Our hearts are ready for you.
God, we love you and we commit our hearts to you again.
It is all for your glory.

In the mighty, powerful holy Name of Jesus, the Name above every name.
Amen!
To God Be All the Glory,
Debbie (Mills) Booth
